Bumblebee Weddings & Events is a boutique agency specializing in event planning and design for weddings and social occasions in Kennebunkport, Palm Beach and the greater Tampa Bay area. We believe bold decisions make a party fashionable and memorable, even the grandest project depends on the success of the smallest components and weddings must reflect the personality of the bride and groom. Our mission is to create chic events that complement unique tastes, personalities and budgets.

Owner, Barbie Pressly Tilman, was born and raised in Palm Beach, Florida. Her love of style and details inspired her to obtain a B.S. in Special Events and Meeting Planning at the University of Florida. After graduation, Barbie worked in fundraising and event planning for the American Heart Association followed by a career in the pharmaceutical sales industry. She realized her true calling in 2008 when she started planning her own wedding in Kennebunkport, Maine. Wedding Consulting is the perfect career for this social bumblebee's passion for design, people and parties. Barbie has stellar relationships with a network of the most talented vendors in the event planning industry and loves to design and orchestrate events in the three cities that her heart belongs to... Palm Beach, where she was raised, Kennebunkport, where she has a summer residence, and the Tampa area, where she now calls home.
